I have been spending a lot of time this week thinking about why I am a photographer.

I think I may have finally come up with the answer. I love showing the uniqueness of people. Everyone is so entirely different from each other. My own boys show that with their light & dark features but also with their personalities. I grew up not only a twin but a middle child to boot. I have always felt like no one really took the time to see me. No one ever knew who I really was. I love that I get to show the people that I see them. That who they are is valuable and beautiful and entirely all their own.
