Busy busy busy …

I love that people trust me. There is no bigger compliment to me than trust. Even better is when their children trust me. At this last session, I photographed this young man and he was game for whatever I asked of him. “Hey, do you like fences?” He gave me a weird look and then laughed. “I guess.” he responded. “Would you mind sitting on the dirty ground?”  He says “Sure.” We briefly talked about getting a tree. He was hesitant. I told him he didn’t have to do anything he didn’t want to. He looked at me and smiled. He trusted me. We laughed at silly things and conspired to make the best images we possibly could.

When all was said and done it was great fun and he got to play video games with my boys while we waited for his Mom to pick him up. I love that too. That they would trust me enough to take their child off for a session and that not only will there be images to love but their child will be cared for and protected. Can’t beat that can you?
