I wrote “sneak peel” five times before I finally managed to type the right title. No idea why I’m telling you this … just over-sharing I guess.

I had the immense pleasure of photographing this beautiful baby girl on Friday morning. Have you ever had something (or someone – in this case someones) awesome right in front of you but you missed it? I have lived in my home for over 8 years. The Mamas of this ridiculously adorable baby (Carter – though my kids call her BABYCARTER – all one word) have lived right down the road from me all this time. I met them a while back but never really spent any time with them. I have gotten to know them a little better this summer. As I sat in their home doing more chatting that photographing … Ooops! … I had that moment where I thought: “How can people this awesome live right down the street from me and I am just now (8 years later) getting to know them?” I have been missing out for years! Lucky for me, I know now and will not be missing out any longer. Unfortunately, my loyal blog readers (yup – you Mom) will have to miss out on them a little while longer because this is JUST A SNEAK PEEK.
