Somedays I feel as though the world drones on and on. Time slowly ticking away and nothing at all happening. Then I look at a calendar and am shocked. How in the world did that happen? I am just two days from my 32nd birthday! Normally, I am thrilled with birthday excitement but this year …  I just don’t know. I’m not sad or happy. I am just … whatever.

As most people tend to do around their birthdays, I look around and try to take stock. Well, I’ve gained 30 pounds. That’s depressing. I’ve finally sunk my teeth into Boudoir Photography and I LOVE IT! Yay me! Many of my favorite people have moved away. Boo! My husband got a promotion! Whoo-hoo! We had to give up our dog. UGH. I don’t want to talk about it. I met some really amazing people and have strengthened friendships with people I’ve already known to be awesome.

It’s been a crazy year, with highs and lows but at the end of it … I think I’ve come out alright.  Photo highlight recap … I think yes!

My youngest broke his arm. Spent a lot of time that summer fretting over healing bones, surgeries and generally non-fun stuff.

Back to School

This changed my life. It sounds cheesy but it’s true. I let go of a lot of fear after this class and I am forever grateful to these people. Plus I made some rockin new friends!

What happened next you ask? Well, I went to Hawaii of course! Celebrated 10 years of wedded bliss.

Well, until Scott did this to his head with a surfboard …

The holidays came and as usual … we lost our minds.

Then I let go of my fear and stepped out with Boudoir Photography …

Wirth Images gets a new Logo (thank you Emjay Studios) and premieres it with Awards for maintaining a high GPA a year long for my oldest!

I start doing some in home studio work …

It’s been a good and busy year full of change and growth. My family (as always) brought me the most joy and the most worry. It was a good year.

This coming year will very likely be just as fun if not more so. There are talks around here about moving. There are talks about opening up a studio. Whatever happens, it will be interesting!
