I’m a much better reader than a writer. Once upon a time, I fancied myself on a path toward being an editor. Doesn’t that sound like fun. Reading as my job. Then I realized all the other responsibilities involved in that and decided that while still an option … perhaps I might look at some other things to do.

I just finished reading “The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society” by Mary Ann Shaffer and Anne Barrows. I have stopped and started the first page for weeks because I’ve been soooo busy. I started it at 11:30 and now at 3:30am … I’m sitting here with a couple of pressing thoughts.

1. If anyone reads this blog … go out and get this book, download it to your kindle, download it to your ipad/iphone … whatever. It was excellent. If you’ve read it and you don’t like it … well … quit reading my blog. You probably don’t like this either. 😉

2. How on Earth am I suppose to function if I stay up all night reading?
