Little Ones

I have always always always loved babies. For as long as I can remember, I have been one of those people who just adores them. I see them at the grocery store or around town and I’m the one ohhh-ing and ahhh-ing over them. I could sit and play with a little one for hours and not get bored. They’re such interesting little people. Trying to figure you out and their surroundings is like a game for them. They always seem to be in awe of their every little discovery. As we grow older, these discoveries lose their awe and life can at times become tedious. This kind of sweet innocent joy is the best thing about babies, toddlers and kids alike.

Meet Zack!

He was kind enough to show me around his house. We ran around in circles for a while, emptied out a few drawers, and had some snacks. He did get frustrated with me once or twice as I did not relinquish my camera to hand him the snack that was right in front of him. Otherwise, we were like long lost friends who were playing a lot. In the end, we even sat and snuggled. 🙂

Sometimes I am so sad that little ones are long passed this stage.
